Emma - 3 months



I'm a terrible mom (ha ha). Ok, not terrible just a busy mom.  December and January were crazy for the Kolson house. Not only did we go thru a crazy but wonderful Christmas time, we also had Connor start school and we moved!!!  All while Princess Emma turned 3 AND 4 months old!! This will be her post, just for Baby E.

Well Emma hit the 3 month mark on Christmas Eve.  She is such a happy baby like her brother!  She loves to smile and cuddle.  She has also come so far in the last 4 weeks.

Emma the roller

Little miss also began to roll over.  I just happened to be in her room putting laundry away and I saw her rolling in her crib.  I looked at the time line and she started rolling over a few weeks sooner than her brother.  I don't have her on video yet (but I will get her) for she seems to do it when I'm not looking.  But she has no issues being on her tummy at all.  She can't roll back yet but she loves being on her tummy and is perfectly fine like that.  Connor hated it at first :)

Thumb sucker

She has also come to love her thumb!  She hardly ever takes her binky anymore and prefers to suck her thumb.  Right now she usually just does it when she is tired and it helps her sleep.  She will suck both of them, sometimes her fingers too, but she prefers her right thumb. I think it is so cute!!  (P.S. Dont you just LOVE our new camera!!)

Emma - 4 months

She has grown so much in the past few months!!  We go to the doctor on Monday for her 4 month check up.  She is doing so well.  She is always so happy, she loves to eat too, is already at 6-7 oz a feeding and sleeps thru the night like a pro. I'm hoping we can start oatmeal for her this week as she appears to be hungry all the time.  We'll find out Monday!
