The half year mark!

Im 6 months!!
Today Connor is 6 months old!  We have such a happy and healthy baby that we couldn't ask for anything more.  He is growing and growing and watching him discover his world around him is truly amazing!  He has done so much in such a short amount of time!

He is doing really well with his eating.  In addition to his oatmeal, he eats squash, sweet potatoes, pears, apples and bananas.  We have tried green beans but I got the "gag" face from him, so he was not amused with it.  We will try it again in a few weeks.  Next on his menu will be mangos, and peaches and whatever else comes on sale :)  He used to struggle with the eating, he didn't have control of his tongue so the food got everywhere, but he has gotten better at it. Not sure how much he weights but I'll say about 16 to 17 lbs. We go for his 6 month dr appointment on Friday.
While mommy and daddy are working, Connor hangs out at Gammie's house! He has such a fun time there! I put him in a purple Dbacks outfit that Gammie got him when I took him to her house. As you can tell by the picture, he loves his Dbacks and his Gammie!

Toni  8 months, Connor 6 months
Last weekend and this coming weekend, we also had the joy of having my niece Toni stay with us while Colette and Jake were on a much needed vaction to Costa Rica (lucky!)  I must saying having two kids to take care of can be alot of work.    But thankfully these two were great!  It helps that Toni can hold her bottle on her own.  I have to laugh when these two are together, Toni is quite the talker and Connor not so much.  She is also a loud talker so sometimes he gets scared.  Sorry son, its just the way us girls are :)

Connor loves walking around in his walker!  I call it his "vehicle"  he will spend hours in it just walking around the house, back and forth!  I have posted a little video of him below.  I must admit the last part is a bit funny, for he took my finger and began to chew on it when I felt something sharp!  Perhaps a tooth??
Stay tuned!!!

  1. I love that last part when Connor tries to 'gnaw' on your camera! The sudden mouth shot is Awesome! Also awesome? Hearing your reaction to suddenly finding his first tooth! What a great Mommy moment caught on tape! Most of us never get to record that!
