A week of FIRSTS!



First 2 TEETH!

     So not to long ago, a little boy was running around in his walker, running down everything in his path.  One day, while mommy was taking a video of this little munckin, he came running to her and began to chomp on her fingers, as he loves to do.  Mommy this time, noticed that this little mouth, seemed alot sharper and to what do her wondering eyes should appear . . .not one but TWO little teeth in her little boys mouth!  This drooling machine has finally cut his first 2 teeth.  He has been a bit cranky but not too bad at all!  My little guy growing up so fast!

   After the excitement of new teeth wore off, Connor was not satisified with his lack of attention (ha ha!) So, he decided "I'm going to sit UP!" and sure enough he began to balance himself and was sitting up on his own!  He still falls over and is not quite 100% there, but he is awful close!  In the above picture he is also wearing shorts and his converse shoes for the first time!!




Connor 6 months, Olivia 7 months

    The Wards were in town from Oregon and they brought their little munchkins as well!  Here we have Connor and Olivia.  Connor was being a little cranky on this night and here he is holding his rally monkey. Olivia really liked this monkey and played with a few times. As you can see from above, she has her eye on it!

   Can't believe how time is flying by!  Connor is 6.5 months now and is growing so fast!  He has entered a "stranger danger" phase so if he sees someone he is not quite sure about he starts to cry.  He seems ok around women but men tend to be a little more frightening.  His Uncle Chris is here in town for the break and Connor is not scared of him at all!  So that is a step in the right direction!  Another first, we got Connor's first passport ordered, for in 6 short weeks we will be taking him on his first plane right to Poland!  That's right, we bought our tickets and the Kolson's are heading to Poland.  Im really excited for this is the first time I have been to Poland and the first time I think I have been on vacation for longer than a week.  We will be there for 2.5 weeks and even better news, Chris gets to come too!!  What a great adventure we have in store!
