Good Guys Car Show
So Thanksgiving came and went and it was a total blur, not even sure what happened but I know that I was there, as was Jon and the kids and we all had a good time because as far as I know, everyone is still talking to each other :)
The weekend before was the Good Guys Car Show. My brother in law Jake worked this show so he was kind enough to give us some free passes to get in. So Sunday Jon, myself and the kids, along with Colette and her munchkins, Ann and Uncle Trevor, we headed to Scottsdale for this treat.
It was a great show but so much to see that no wonder you have to go on more than 1 day. Next year, the kids and I will go on Sunday, and Uncle Trevor and Jon can go an additional day so they can sit and dream all day. Connor loved watched the cars race around with their very loud engines. Everytime one would race by, he would say "He comes another one!" We all had a great time though, definately have to go back next year.

How many guys does it take to clean up Connor? Per Uncle Trevor, "he was rolling in ketchup"

Thanksgiving at the Van Horns
Every year Jon and I have the crazy task of trying to attempt 4 Thanksgivings. 3 years ago we decided that, sadly that was crap and started to rotate 2 a year. My dad was out of town and since it was my mom's year, we headed over to our cousins Ansel and Sheryl for their Thanksgiving. It was great as always. We keep growing every year as the cousins are now adults and having kids of their own. Thankfully Eric was here this year with his boys Ethan and Sawyer, who are getting so big!

Happy Thanksgiving!
This year we also decided to do Thanksgiving at our house for Jon's family on Friday. Gina came over with all the trimmings and cooked it in the house. Everything turned out great! Ciocia Lidia came over as well with Vince, Nicole and her girls and also brought great sides! One thing I can say for the Polish, you will never run out of great food!

All the Burris great grandkids
Since Eric and the boys were in town, we all went to Zoolights. Zoolights (for those who don't know) is an event every year at the Phoenix Zoo, where at night they have Christmas Lights decorating the zoo. This was Connor's first year and he had a blast! Left to right
Kylie (6) Sawyer (4) Ethan (6) Waylon (5) Emma (2m) Connor (2) Toni (2). If our grandma Toni and grandpa Martyn were still with us today, they would be causing trouble with these kids in a heartbeat! Miss them :)

The holiday season is offically here! It is my favorite time of year and now that Emma is here and Connor is 2, it is going to be so much fun! Too bad its not a bit cooler out, Arizona is unseasonable warm for late Nov/Dec. Not that I mind cause I love this weather, just doesn't feel like Christmas yet. It will soon though I'm sure :)
