Once I had recovered from Emma's birth we started to make our way out to the festivals in October around Phoenix. There were alot of them and since Connor is at the perfect age now, he had a great time at them! Jon and I have both been home during this time so it has been nice to get out on the weekends. Here are some of the adventures the Kolson's went on!
Tomlachoff Farms is the first one we went to. It was nice to get out and let Connor run around, but its no Young's Farm thats for sure. It was still a bit warm out but Connor got to see some chickens and run through a corn maze and had a great time playing with kids out on the farm. It was about 25 minutes from our house so it was nice to go out there for a Saturday afternoon.

Even though it was not a festival, it might as well because because it is always a party at the McKiernan's house. We gathered the troups to head out to the McKiernan's for our Friday Night Party Night. It is always so fun to go out there and hang out with them. Its hard sometimes because one is always watching the little kids, but we are now the parents so its our job to do so while the grandparents chat, after all its only fair :)

This past weekend we went to Anthem for the annual fall festival. Connor loves running thru pumpkin patches so much that we lost him for about 5 minutes in one (yikes!!) Jury is still out on who was to be watching him (it was probably me I'm sure) but he is safe and sound. We met up with the Marvin's and their two cuties Ashton and Cole, along with other members of the Marvin family, and Aunt Kasia came with cousin Mia! Connor always has such a great time out there with his family that he never wants to leave!

After naps we headed to Scottsdale to the Hiland Hills Church Fall Festival with the Marvins. A great festival but may have been a little old for Connor (maybe 3 or 4). He doesnt' quite understand that he can't sit and play the games for as long as he wants that he has to take turns. But none the less it was still a great time! Connor got to run around and be silly in his Tigger costume. He played alot of fun games with daddy while mommy hung back with Emma.
There was a point at this festival though that Connor actually told me "No more pictures mommy." I was crying with laughter. Too bad baby boy, you'll thank me someday. . .or your wife will :)

Then Sunday we made our way over to the Polish Festival with Gina. Connor had a great time here eating all the great Polish food and he loved the Polish dancing! The food is what we mainly go for but this was a perfect time for Babcia to show off her grandkids to all her friends. I'm pretty sure I'm still full from all the food!

Emma was also at all thes events as well but she was in her stroller sleeping most of the time, probably why she is not sleepig very much at night :)
What is so great about all these festivals that they are all free (except for food) so this makes these kinds of trips very exciting not only for Connor, but for all of us as well! It is so great to see Connor grow and play at these functions.
Next up! Halloween!! Emma's first!!! Should be exciting!!!
