Some fun things that the Kolson's did this summer

  So I have a few entries that I have to catch up on so I'm going to do them in 2 different blogs.  So first things first.  I'm pretty sure it was the hottest day EVER (not really) but I took Connor the Children's Museum to help my friend Amy celebrate her daughter Chloe's 2nd birthday.  Connor had a great time crawling around here and playing with Amy (see above)  He wasn't walking yet and was still a bit small to be here but none the less had a great time.  We went on a hot, weekend, free day so it was a bit over crowded but as long as everyone had fun that's all that mattered!

1 year later

Can't believe it has already been a year since these littles were born!  Here is our annual mom/kid picture.  This was the best one out of 6 or 7 that we took.  Funny because a crime in about to happen here, Connor is about 3 seconds away from stealing Olivia's binky and Toni was the witness.  I had no idea till I moved Connor and noticed a green binky in his mouth (his is red )  So great to watch all these kiddo's grow up together, wish Ahna T lived closer, but we know Oregon is cooler than Arizona :)

So this summer has also been filled with these nasty dust storms.  The first one was cool, second one was even ok, but come on, 7 or 8? This is a bit ridiculous now. Love watching a pile of dust come dumping on the valley, to be followed up by a "Sprinkle" of rain, just to turn everything into mud. Annoying.

Its THROW BACK night!!

Can you believe it has been 10 YEARS since the boys in purple won the World Series!!!  And we are on track for play offs right now!! (magic number today is 6!!!) So in honor of the 10th year, they did a throw back night and the whole team busted out their Purple & Teal (and better) uniforms!  Don't get me wrong, the Red. . .excuse me "Sedona Red" and Tan are fine, I like them well enought, but the Purple and Teal belong to my team, the first Dbacks, the "BabyDbacks."  Watching them play that night in the old uniforms just brought back so many great memories of my beloved 2001 team, and they even brought the WHOLE team back!  We played San Diego (which I must say has lost some respect in my eyes for the dirty way they played that night, they were pulling crap that SF or LA would) And came back to beat them 6-5 with 2 (yes, I said 2) Back to Back home runs!!  This game has to be the 2nd best game I've ever been to! (First being the 2nd game of the 2001 World Series) We had 3 of the 4 girls at this game (Colette you were missed!!!) But we had Jon there and it was just as fun :)

I love my Diamondbacks!!!  Let's take it to the post season boys! 10 years sounds like a great time for a repeat!!!
