Easter Baskets, Phoenix Zoo and crawling!! OH MY

He started at the mat, and this is where he ended up!
Well we will start with the dreaded news first (ha ha!) Connor is yet again, on the move. This time our little man in crawling!!  He is more doing the army man stomach crawl but non the less he is mobile.  He is not super fast yet but I have no doubt that in a short amount of time, he will be flying thru this house with the greatest of ease! We have bought him some baby gates so he does spend some time in his little "baby prison" but so far that seems to be enough for him.  But he is such a self entertainer that he just sits in there and crawls around and plays with his toys.  So much for waiting to crawl till after Poland!!
Since we had Good Friday off and Colette had free adult passes to the Zoo, we loaded up the kiddos (after a crazy time adding a carseat to Colette's truck, don't ask, if you know Colette and I, you know it was something silly) and headed out to the Phoenix Zoo (the long way).  Waylon had a great time and I'm sure Toni and Connor did too. They were too young really to really pay attention to anything, but Connor and Toni got to go into the petting zoo and also got a drive by on some of the other animals.  It started to get hot though by 12 and by the time we reached the Lion Cave, Connor and Toni were out :)

"Stop taking my picture Aunt Corty"
Then we come to Easter.  We went over to Dad and Laura's house for a nice visit. The got great Easter Basket's from them and Connor got a spinning toy and a blue Easter Bunny that he thinks is really cool!
Look! I'm on the basket!

Can I unwrap it?
All of these fun milestones that are coming and going for Connor are such a blessing! I feel like broken record sometimes but he truly is one amazing kid!  We have only a few short weeks left before we take him over seas to Poland to visit family! What an exciting time that will be!  Until Mothers Day!!
