Oh to my AC

Do not be afraid! your eyes are not going bad. This is IN FACT what my house read yesterday at 4:30 when I got home from work. The left side is what it is supposed to be in the house, the right side is what it actually is in the house. The whole debacle know as the AC started when we got back from San Diego, the next day the air went out. We managed to stay that night in the house but the next day they couldn't fix it in time so we ended up on my mom's couch. He came back the next day and fixed it (not sure what the problem was) but it was done and we were happy. So we though.

This week when I came home on Monday, it was 88* in the house again. So we called the guys and he couldn't come back out till Tuesday. It actually kicked on as the sun went down so we were able to stay in the house Monday. But Tuesday the part they needed to be ordered, they couldn't get out to us till Thursday. So we headed back to my mom's house. The picture above was taken on Wednesday when I came home from work and it was time to take serious action. I had 2 cats and 2 dogs that also needed to be saved so we packed up the cats and the dogs and headed over to the Pickard's. The cats were scared out of their mind and have been under the bed since we got here, the dogs could care less they are just happy to be in the house with AC. The men came over on Thursday at 1pm to do a 4 hour job and found out they ordered the wrong part. So, at 7pm I write this, still in Colette's house with my 4 animals while Jon is sitting in the hot house waiting for them to fix it. I took Thursday off since Colette's house and my work at almost 60 miles apart and I didn't want to make that drive at 5am. But it will take the house many hours to cool down so, we are still staying at the Pickards and I will have to make that 60 mile drive to work tomorrow. Gotta love the heat waves of AZ!! But I would take this over a blizzard any day, you can at least escape the heat, you can't escape snow :)
