Connor's First Christmas

Christmas is AMAZING!

Our favorite time of the year FINALLY arrived!! Christmas!!  And what a blessing it was because we had Connor to share it with!  Christmas week started off great because Uncle Chris finally came home and got to meet his nephew Connor for the first time!   Connor wasn't so sure at first of his Uncle Chris, and after a few starles he finally knew that Chris was a good guy, as well I know him to be.

On Christmas Eve we went to my Uncle Mike and Aunt Donna's annual Christmas Eve gathering.  We have been doing this for as long as I can remember.  What is great is that this year, my brother and mother in law came with us!  They are above in the picture with Jon and Connor.  We usually do church after but Connor was not in his happy place so hopefully next year :)

Christmas morning we headed over to Mom's house, another tradition we have had for years. We all had her wonderful breakfast and just got to hang out as a family. Its so great to see Waylon get so excited about all his gifts he gets, and tells us what Santa brought him. I can't wait till next year when Connor and Toni are big enough to be fun at Christmas!

After Mom's we headed over to Wujek Peter and Cocia Margaret's house (that would be Uncle and Aunt in Polish) to visit with them for a bit.  Our cousin's Victoria and Kasia were also there with their husband's and its always great to see them.  Cocia, Victoria and Kasia just love Connor, as do he with them. Its great because in addition to Babcia, Cocia Margaret also speaks to Connor is Polish which is great since he will be learning it too.

Then we headed to Babcia's (grandmother in Polish) for a FEAST of wonderful Polish food. She always makes SO much but it is always SO GOOD!  It was great to finish out the day with her and visit.  Connor loves his Babcia so much and he always gives her big smiles when he see's her.

This Christmas was the best so far.  This year was such a blessing with my little guy, my wonderful husband and my brother in law is also staying with us while he is on furlong from NMMI.  His girlfriend Tana is also staying with us who is such a great girl! Chris got himself a good one this time :)  She will be heading back to New Mexico on Sunday and we will sure miss her around here.  Chris will head back to NMMI on the 9th.  I hope everyone had a great Christmas and that they were as blessed as Jonathan and I were this year.
