Valentine's Day

Jon and I decided this year that since Valentine's Day fell on a Saturday, that we would do ours a bit differently. Since Valentine's Day seems to be a rush of things to do on the actual day, we did ours this way. On the actual day, Jon and I just hung out at home. We decided to play Mario Kart Wii and do all 8 levels (mind you each with 4 races) to see who could be crowned Mario Kart champion. I won, but barely. We had take out from Pei Wei and then decided to put up our camping tent for the first time since we got it for our wedding. It would have worked out great but at about 3am Jon's back was killing him from the air mattress that we were sleeping in so we moved back into our room. None the less the actual day was great.

The celebration though was to be had on last night. Jon and I woke up on Saturday Morning and since it was such a beautiful day we walked the dogs down to the Coffee, Bean and Tea leaf, about a mile from the house. Then we came home and did the usual running around and then we went out to dinner to a small little Italian Place that was great! Jon says he has found his new favorite restaurant. After that we went to see Cavalia. Which for those of you who don't know is the show with the performers and the horses. Jon loves horses so I knew that this would be a great show for him to see. I had seen it with Mom a few years back and loved it so I was so glad we got to go again. The things they can do on these horses and get them to do is nothing short of amazing!
